This surge has already started, with Burlington being designated as a CHIPS Act Tech Hub focused on Gallium-Nitride. The V-GaN Tech Hub will build on Vermont’s culture of innovation by driving opportunities in education, research, and commerce that lead the development and commercialization of GaN Devices and spur vital workforce expansion across our region.

Noteworthy companies like GlobalFoundries, Dealer.com, and Beta Technologies spearhead innovation in areas ranging from semiconductor manufacturing to sustainable air travel, collectively shaping Vermont's identity as the Silicon Forest, where technological breakthroughs are cultivated daily.
