Summer Events

Summer is a great time to plan a trip around an event. In fact, there’s enough going on that you can probably squeeze two or three into a long weekend and still miss something fun. Kick off your weekend at the South End Get Down , with food trucks and live music every Friday night in Burlington's arts district. Farmer’s markets dot the region and series like Ben & Jerry’s Concerts on the Green bring in national acts throughout the summer. For the foodies, there’s the Burlington Food & Wine Festival and Vermont Brewers Festival . Both are great ways to experience some of the best food and drink anywhere while watching a classic Lake Champlain sunset. For the family, check out Church Street’s Festival of Fools , a weekend of street performer fun up and down the marketplace and wrap up the season with the Champlain Valley Fair .
